I am speaking to a room full of landlords tomorrow (I know! Lucky them!) for Newcastle Council.
My topic “Tax Policy and Property Structures” covers a wide range of issues.
As you will know I have written what is now 126 emails covering tax on property income and I still have quite a few things to cover off.
The help I need from your is on two things. Firstly keep asking your questions. Everything I write about started as a question or conversation with a real life living landlord. Thank you!
Secondly though I’d love your thoughts on tax policy at the moment. It doesn’t have to be on property specifically. You could be annoyed about IHT for farmers (of happy about it!), worried as an employer having to find increasing national insurance costs or annoyed that the “cashies’ just seem to keep getting away with it.
Hit reply and send me a few words please! It doesn’t have to be a long winded thing. 30 seconds. I speak at a lot of large rooms full of people and the more I know about how landlords feel the more I can influence the organisers and other speakers in the room. Tomorrow for instance the Newcastle Council team will on tap together with a handful of other industry speakers including the NRLA. A great opportunity for me to share with them whatever is on your mind!
