There you go. Done.
Why do we keep seeing this question come up time and time again then? Probably because it can still be a very tough game. Extremely tough!
It has always been the case that BTL investing is something that should only be undertaken with extreme care. Proper modelling on cash flow across multiple years was always required and will always be required.
Tax has made a huge contribution to the BTL landscapes and we have more companies than ever involved in the game but if anything this shows there is still life in the old dog just yet.
It does not have to be a company though. I speak with a lot of people who only ever want a handful of properties and are completely comfortable paying some tax as they aren’t aggressively chasing their next deposit.
So long as you have an proper plan of what you are aiming for and take the right advice up front then BTL is very much alive!
