I spent some time contemplating what could happen in the upcoming budget. It’s the first Labour budget for a generation so could be big news. At the time I spoke it was clear that Labour weren’t having the start they might have been hoping for but we could still have had almost anything announced.
Since then Labour have essentially dropped to the same popularity levels as the Conservatives so they might be feeling a little less bullish about what they will get away with. The press has been full of stories on the softening of their plans after what can only be assumed to be bad testing with the public.
Anyway in this I talk over the possible, likely and unlikely from unpopular to terrible!
