You’d have to of been under a rock not to know there is a budget coming soon.
If this is your first news on this they you might be asking if you have left it too late to do anything? Well the literal answer is no. You haven’t!
Realistically though yes you have. Anything done now will run the risk of being knee jerk and as you are taking about life changing planning events you probably don’t want to force your advisor to rush this and you won’t want to rush yourself now either.
Like I say it would be possible but I’d not advise it at this stage. Rushed decisions in any area aren’t normally the best and this is no exception. I spoke with a lady in her mid fifties and we worked out she will have at least 5 more elections and 30+ budgets in her. Yes this one could be big but she has time. The key thing is to start discussing those longer term plans now.
